Trabzon Governor Aziz Yıldırım, Trabzon Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Murat Zorluoğlu, former Minister of State Faruk Nafiz Özak, President of Religious Affairs Prof. attended the ceremony. Dr. Ali ERBAŞ, Trabzon Provincial Mufti Selami Aydın, district governors, mayors and guests attended.
President of Religious Affairs Prof. Dr. In his speech, Ali Erbaş said: “How happy we are that we became the ummah of Prophet Muhammad Mustafa Aleyhisselam, who was sent as a mercy to the worlds. We have become members of Islam, the greatest blessing sent to the earth. How many people in the world have had the chance to become Muslims? Today, 2 billion people, and billions of people in the past, lived as Muslims. Today, 6 billion people are deprived of this blessing. 1/4 of the world has achieved this blessing.” he said.
