The Official Opening of 2024 Bayrampaşa Summer Quran Courses took place with the participation of our Bayrampaşa Mufti, Mr. Recep EREN Hocaefendi.
The opening ceremony held at Bayrampaşa Kocatepe Mosque was attended by Kocatepe Mosque Imam Hatip and İLKSEÇ Foundation Chairman Ali Ulvi UZUNLAR Hocaefendi, İLKEM Director Abdullah UZUNLAR Hocaefendi, Kocatepe Quran Course Director Ramazan ÖZBAŞ Hocaefendi, students and students' parents.
First to speak at the opening was İLKSEÇ Foundation Chairman Ali Ulvi UZUNLAR, addressing the participants: “We need to make good use of the Quran courses. Let our mosques and Quran courses be joyful with our children. As parents, one day this mortal life of ours will end and we will meet our Lord Almighty. On the day of judgment, our book of deeds will be opened before us. We will be told, 'Read the book of deeds.' "Then, while reading our book, we will see in our book of deeds how we showed our children the good and true path and how we introduced them to the Holy Quran."
Bayrampaşa Mufti Mr. Recep EREN Hocaefendi, who came to the podium after Ali Ulvi UZUNLAR Hocaefen, addressed the guests and said: “The Messenger of Allah built the Masjid an-Nabawi to make Yathrib an enlightened city. Then he turned it into a school so that it would not be a place where only prayer was performed and people entered and exited. If we, as the heirs of our Prophet, try to evaluate the 90 thousand mosques in our country as places where knowledge, wisdom, knowledge and wisdom are learned, then we will be considered to have truly followed the path of our Prophet (peace be upon him). Let us not forget that cities without mosques are like bodies without hearts, and mosques without children are like rose gardens without nightingales.” he stated.
As İLKSEÇ Foundation, we pray that the 2024 Summer Quran Courses will lead to GENERATIONS WHO FIND LIFE WITH THE KURAN; We would like to express our gratitude to our Bayrampaşa Mufti's Office, Kocatepe Mosque Imam Hatip and İLKSEÇ Foundation Chairman Ali Ulvi UZUNLAR, and the Director and Teachers of İLKSEÇ Foundation Science and Culture Education Center who shouldered the Summer Quran Course training.
