Our students studying at the İLKSEÇ Foundation Educational Institutions, who are memorizing the Quran, demonstrated a meaningful stance by participating in a march organized to say "stop" to the inhumane massacre in Gaza. Despite their young age, these students, whose hearts are imbued with a sense of community, did not remain silent in the face of the cries of the oppressed.
Undeterred by the cold weather, our students marched against injustice, guided by the faith, conscience, and compassion they derive from the Quran. Carrying the pain of the innocent children, mothers, and elderly in Gaza in their hearts with every step, our young ones became a living manifestation of the divine commandment, "The believers are but brothers."
This march, in which our esteemed elder, Ali Ulvi UZUNLAR, Chairman of the İLKSEÇ Foundation Board of Directors, also participated, once again showed that faith, not age, and righteousness, not power, are the determining factors. Our memorizers of the Quran, raised with the ethics of the Quran, have become a source of hope not only for Gaza but for the entire Muslim community through their prayers and stance. As the İLKSEÇ Foundation, we believe that these small steps taken today against oppression are harbingers of a world where justice and mercy will prevail tomorrow.
